This poem came out of the April 2013 Muse Fusion in Torn World. It was inspired by a prompt from LiveJournal user Vaerys, along with continued discussions about touch aversion as an everyday challenge rather than something that has to be "cured." It is a sequel to "Stinging Like Nettles."

This setting features a world torn and rejoined by time, with some unique hazards because of that. Here we're visiting the Northern culture just above the arctic circle.
