Summary: Lin Moniao, returning from a quest in the north and traveling towards the capital to return to his shifu, Master Wu of the Illustrious Qilin Villa sect, takes on a postal escort job along the way that turns out to be more trouble than anticipated.
Note: I have already posted side stories and extras for the Lin Moniao series here before but this was actually the first adventure in it, co-written withminutia_r . It is the TTRPG logs for an adventure loosely based on the "Obsidian Bat" adventure from the Righteous Blood, Ruthless Blades sourcebook. I was GM, Minutia played Lin Moniao, and I created Wang Xiaonan as a GM-controlled NPC to allow us to play the adventure with only one player. As a result, the plot bounces about a bit, and somewhere in the middle we kinda got stuck at an inn for ages. Anyway--here you go! Also available on AO3 here, with some more notes and commissioned art of the "player" characters.
