“Why’re you here?” Daniel finally asks, shooting the other boy a wary look.

Damien hesitates for a long moment, eventually deciding, “I live here.”

“Nuh-uh, I live here.” A beat. “Where’s your Mommy?”

Tears well up in Damien’s eyes as his lower lip begins to tremble. “Dunno. But I do live here. They said.”

Daniel seems to accept this, nodding. “Wanna watch foo’ball with my Daddy? It’s loud.” Clearly this says everything he feels needs to be said about the sport.

Damien shrugs and wipes at his face. “Kay.”

Grabbing his hand, Daniel drags him into the next room.

Okay, one, I love that Angela's kids are allowed to watch sports with David. THINGS IT SAYS ABOUT HIM.

Two, this is just ridiculously adorable. I love them just basically deciding to be friends, just like that.

Lol, you know David screams at the television and godforbid if any of the little runts gets in the way of his sight, but still, yeah, they totally watch football together.

These two are adorable, kind of the next generation of Vito and Gino, only less stupid. Thank god, for Angela's sake.

Damien and Daniel are adorable together, really. They basically become instant best friends.

Yeah, at least Damien has Daniel around to ease his transition. Plus, you know, Martina and Angela are pretty great to him.

Yvette basically just con't afford or emotionally handle caring for Damien any more, so her only real option was to leave him with his father. I swear, it probably destroyed her.

Yeah. Poor little kid. I feel very sorry for him, because I think he's the one who suffers most in the transition-- well, at least the one who suffers most who doesn't deserve to suffer, David. I'm glad to hear Daniel, Martina and Angela do their best to keep him safe and happy.
