Notes: istan on Percival before they were well...Tristan and Percival. This is set pre-everythig really.
He shot at the target with a precision that came from years of practice. The gun was steady i his hands ad he didn't flinch for eve a second as he fired round after round.
It wasn't helping, not even remotely. The simple fact was that no matter how may bullets he went through, no matter how many people fell at his hands, his brother was still dead. He failed at the one thing he swore he would never falter at, he failed ad now he had to learn to move on, to live without him, to fight without him at his back.
He wasn't sure that was even possible.
But there was nothing to be done, was there? No way to go back, to fix what had been done. Not even angels have the ability to go back in time, no matter what they might otherwise wish.
And yet, he new the story didn't end this way, new that somewhere his brother was being reborn, was being let in a human shell.
The gears in his brain started turning and he set down the gun, taking a deep breath.
Maybe he couldn't fix things, maybe he couldn't reverse time, but there\s still a possibility he may have a second chance all the same.
