Admin Yellow 13, Ibiza Blue 3: Exuberance
Author: Kat
Title: Exuberance
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Admin yellow 13 (I simply made the grievous error of buying Bear a squeaky toy.), ibiza blue 3 (Dousk - Anagram https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_w9wCJ0jpU)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, brush (crazy-quilt), yarn (a girl holding the stars in her hands), pastels (fireworks), novelty beads ("There goes my baby/She knows how to Rock n' roll/She drives me crazy/She gives me hot and cold fever/Then she leaves me in a cool cool sweat." - Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Queen)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Exuberance.
Warnings: none.
Notes: For subluxate's prompt, "Joy/a girlfriend, exuberance."
Joy bursts into her life in a crazy-quilt of colors, pinwheels and fireworks exploding across the sky. Ordinarily, exactly what Amanda hates. She's calm, aggressively serene in the face of exuberance. She likes quiet, and nights in with a good book.
And, inexplicably, she likes Joy.
Joy balancing on a wall, laughing. Joy dancing, at work or a club or just in the kitchen, humming. Joy pretending to hold the moon in her hands. Joy spinning her around, kissing her bright and sweet in the middle of the sidewalk.
This is not what Amanda likes.
It's definitely what she loves.
