Kirana wriggled into place. She knew 'Sshiri would look here first, so here she was. She liked letting him win. It made him smile.
Sure enough, 'Sshiri lifted up the blanket a minute later. "Found me!" she giggled, then reached for him. "Pull me out!" she demanded, with all the authority a four-year-old had over her big brother.
“Yes, mistress,” he said, but he was smiling. Kirana cheered in the privacy of her head. He took her hands and braced himself to pull her out.
"My turn. Go hide." She covered her face and started counting as he walked away.
