Notes: Hello! Meet Christine one of Sam's sisters who's three years older than Sam. I'm enjoying them so much! I have so much reading to catch up on. ^^
Sam tapped the surface of his desk as Ed’s phone call passed through his mind. He wanted to meet in the garden to talk. Sam didn’t know if that was a good idea or not. On one hand, it would be a good idea to finally get his feelings out of the open before Emma shoved them in a room together and froze the door. Then again, what if it blew up in his face and he lost his best friend? Sam didn’t like the sound of that. He groaned and rested his head on his desk. He didn’t need to have another crisis so soon.
“Sammy? What’s wrong?”
Sam looked up and smiled at the person in his doorway “Oh, hey Christine, how are you?”
“I’m good, I’m still so sleepy. I don’t know what’s about flying that makes me so sleepy and irritable. Do you know faeries fly too? I couldn’t believe it. So what’s up?” Christine asked before she yawned and scratched her head.
Sam fidgeted in his seat. “Um…I…”
“Is it Ed related? Please tell me you two aren’t fighting again.”
Sam shook his head. “No we’re not, but, um, it’s something different.”
“What’s so different about it?”
“Ed asked me to meet him at the garden this weekend. You know the one where we look at the faeries.”
“Right, so what’s different about it?”
Sam bit his lip. “Um, well, I don’t know how to explain it.”
“What is Ed finally gonna tell you how he feels?”
Sam almost fell out of his chair as he stared at Christine. He settled back down as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Y-You know?”
Christine nodded as she leaned against the doorframe. “Yeah I do, Melody and Sarah knows too. I’m not sure about our parents or grandparents, but we know.”
Sam messed with the corner of the book on his desk. “Um, how do you feel about it?”
Christine walked in and wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug. She pulled back with a smile. “We love you and we’re happy for you. Ed is one of the few people to get you to open up and we love him for that. We don’t have a long life like faeries so don’t spend it worrying on what other people think. We have no problem with it. You like guys and I like both, there’s nothing wrong with that.”
Sam’s eyes widened a bit at the confession. “Christine… you’re…”
Christine nodded. “Yep, bi, and at first I worried about it, but now I’m feeling pretty good about it. Sarah and Melody don’t mind and care that I’m happy. Do you care?”
Sam smiled. “I care if you’re happy because you’re still Chrissy to me.”
Christine smiled and messed up his hair. “You’re still Sammy to me too. I mean Melody is worried about someone hurting you, but all you have to do is call and we’ll be there. I know an awesome demon too and they know how to teleport.”
Sam laughed and playfully pushed her hand away. “Thanks,”
“Anytime, so you are going to see him right?”
“Yeah I guess I’m worried this is the time he’ll open his eyes and run away.”
“He’s been with you this long and hasn’t run away yet. I’m sure nothing like that is going to happen. His feelings probably hit him like a landslide and he wanted to tell you as soon as possible. Ed does that all the time.
Sam snickered. “Like a landslide?”
Christine giggled and messed with his hair again. “Hey I’m working off of three hours of sleep leave me alone, but I’m sure the thing that will happen is you getting a boyfriend.”
Sam blushed and gestured her out. “Thanks Chrissy, you can go to sleep now.”
Christine smiled. “Anytime, night Sammy and remember try not to worry so much. Mom does enough worrying for all of us.”
Sam nodded. “I’ll try.”
Christine waved on her way out of his room. Sam sat back in his chair and flipped through one of the books on his desk. He didn’t know he was that obvious, but his sisters always had a sixth sense when it came to him. He figured this came from him being the baby of the family. Still, it felt good to know that his sisters supported him. He just hoped what Christine told him was true.
Sam didn’t want to think about going through high school without Ed.

*cheers happily*
Also, Christine is a nice contrast to a character in something I read earlier (both characters are excellent, it's just an attitude judgment). If only all young queerlets got that kind of support.

Um, do you mean Ed's grandma? I love both Molly and Christine and they're fun to write. I know I wish many of them had that support too.
Thank you. :)
