Twilight 4, Glitter 25: Charcoal and Gold

Author: Kat
Title: Charcoal and Gold
Story: Shine Like It Does - 'Fess Up AU
Colors: Twilight 4 (Ode), glitter 25 (I feel pretty. - West Side Story)
Supplies and Materials: Eraser ('Fess Up AU), fingerpainting (Kat Tries To Write Like SWL) (emphasis on tries), miniature, stain (We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are. - Anais Nin), novelty beads (I swear Jack is part cat).
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: He looks like a fallen angel.
Warnings: none
Notes: That AU where Felix and Jack actually got their shit together and started dating in college. It's not copying if you call it a homage, right?

Jack stretched out on his stomach, head on his crossed arms and his face turned toward Felix, eyes closed. He's beautiful, the long line of his back rising into the curve of his ass; he looks like a fallen angel though he's anything but.

Charcoal, Felix thinks, for the smudges of his eyelashes, the coal-dark of his hair, and felt-tip for the clean sweep of his body. It'll have to stay monochrome. There's no color like the burnished gold of his skin.

"It's creepy when you draw me in my sleep," Jack says, without opening his eyes, and Felix laughs.

OMG.

It's gorgeous and you ended it on a zinger.

And it still works.

You = MAGIC

I love the description, how it's half-poetry and half-sexythoughts, and the punchline is perfect.
