Alex smiles when he sees them walking across the street. Nelly and Rafael. Hand in hand. As if nothing has changed. As if they haven’t changed.

It’s the first time since... Since his brother has been erased, that he is able to smile again. And this sight, this picture, it’s something he thought he’d never see again.

His mother surprises him by suddenly wrapping her arms around him.

“I’ve missed him.”

Alex nods, knowing just how much she missed him even if she couldn’t remember him. He missed him just as much...
