True Blue, Halloween Orange

Name: Morgan
Story: lock the doors and hide the towers
Colors: True Blue 7, "Fast Friends"; Halloween Orange 1, "It's just 'til my evil plan comes into flower."
Supplies and Styles: N/A
Word Count: 277
Rating: G
Warnings: ... villainy... kind of... I don't even know....
Notes: This is entirely and totally Mal's fault and I don't even know what I'm doing. Uh. Can I have a story tag? I guess? No idea if this will ever get more written or not, considering it took me five years to get this into a story, but I kind of have my eye on a couple of saturations for these two.
Also please feel free to tell me if I messed up the pronouns. Or crit me in any other way, I am always crit-open and should probably start mentioning that.

Ey came to kill ver, but somehow it didn't quite work out that way.

It's not really eir fault, or at least that's what ey would argue, if ey were asked. Ve's very persuasive. Well, no, but ve's forward-thinking and has a lot of good points, even if ve fumbles a lot to put them into words. Ve's definitely less radical than eir former teammates made ver out to be. And if ve occasionally goes off about how ve should be taking something over because that's what villains do, because it will pass the time and break through the block ve's got on the plans not quite in motion, or just because ve's bored....

Well, ey's working on teaching ver patience.

More than not, though, ey's pretty pleased with eir choice. The longer ey works with ver, the more eir "heroic" teammates seem black and white. The more good points ve manages to come up with, the more eir "heroic" teammate's ideas seem restrictive. Ey's considered that maybe ve's making em think so, but ey's pretty sure ve never considered mind-control instead of slaughter until ey came onboard.

And sure, playing the mole is a bit dangerous, but ey was looking for a challenge long before ey met ver. The secrecy is kind of fun, even.

Ey came to kill ver, and officially, ey never found vis lair, ve went quiet, and the team moved on to the next threat.

And unknown the the teammates who still call em a friend, ey comes to visit after missions with a bottle of good wine and new batch of intelligence, and they sit together and toast to a brilliant universe that will someday be theirs.

Ah, someone who has been persuaded to play double agent for the villain. I'd certainly like to read more.

YOU CAN HAS TAG

Ahem

I CAN HAS MORE OF THIS MEBBE?

I keep imagining the entities here as a snake and a human. I know they are more than that- it comes through in the words and the fact /they can have wine together/.

That says a lot, but it also makes me so curious.

Ooooooh. This is really intriguing! I like the way that ey has been twisted, very slowly, and how we don't even know who's in the right, whether ey's doing the right thing or not. I can't wait to see more.
