Dirt Brown 3, Cerise 7: Bath
Author: Kat
Title: Bath
Story: Shine Like It Does
Colors: Dirt brown 3 (Brown), cerise 7 (Bubble bath/long shower)
Supplies and Materials: Bichromatic (dirt brown and cerise), miniature, glitter ("The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong with the world." – Dr. Paul Farmer), glue (Bringing your emotions to the surface is easier by acting on your feelings today rather than explaining them.)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Summary: Charlotte and baths.
Warnings: racism.
Notes: The only Shine Like It Does offering for tonight.
When Charlotte was a girl, she used to sit in the bath for hours on end, until her hands and feet wrinkled. Her family asked why a lot, but it was hard to explain. It wasn't that she didn't feel clean, or that she particularly liked water—it was just that, well.
It was just that every time she went to an event with her family, people gushed over how beautiful or handsome her siblings looked, and then they turned to her and said that she looked good too.
If she put bubbles in the bath, it was almost fun.

I can strangle those people for you, Charlotte. Really. Reach right through the fourth wall.
(Not really. Sadly.)
