White Opal 7, Rust 1, Neon 7: Liberty or Death
Author: Kat
Title: Liberty or Death
Story: In The Heart
Colors: White opal 7 (fantasy), rust 1 (Rusty old hunk of junk) with Sara's paint-by-numbers (Someone's first car.), neon 7 (comes free) with Kelly's paint-by-numbers, (Oddly enough, freedom has a price.).
Supplies and Materials: miniature.
Word Count: 100.
Rating: G
Summary: Danny's first car.
Warnings: None.
Notes: My kitty wishes everyone to know that he has teeny weeny teef.
"You're kidding," Michael said, flatly.
Danny grinned at him, over the roof of her brand new car. "Nope! He was only asking five hundred for it. Can you believe that?"
He looked down at the rust-spotted hood, whacked one wheel with a crutch, and looked up at her again. "You overpaid."
"Shut up," Danny said amiably. "It runs."
"On what, magic?" Michael shook his head. "It's a deathtrap."
She could just see herself driving down a highway somewhere, window open, radio blasting; this crappy town and her awful mother far, far behind.
"Liberty or death," she said, and got in.
