Dirt Brown #5, Spilt Ink #10, Glitter #12
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Sharing
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Dirt Brown #5. Fertile, Spilt Ink #10. It's not about who you are right now. It's about who you could be., Glitter #12. I don't know how to love him. - Jesus Christ Superstar
Supplies and Materials: miniature, photography, bichromatic, frame (1002 FY), brush (nidus), oils, fabric, chalk, seed beads, novelty beads
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG
Characters: Kiva
Warnings: Background references to adultery
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. Kiva is Andrell's bastard daughter, and is three or four here.
Kiva peeked over the edge of the cradle at her brand-new baby brother. Babies were supposed to be cute, but he wasn’t, not really. He was tiny, with a squishy little buttoned-up face. But even if he wasn’t cute, he made Auntie ‘Lani happy, and Mamma said she had to be nice to him ‘cause he was teeny and her brother. He didn’t have to be cute for that.
He was teeny, which made it easier to decide to be nice. And maybe he’d be cuter when he got older. She supposed she could live with sharing Daddy after all.

Kids are hard, which is why I tend to avoid them as much as possible. Good to know I get it right when I do try, though. ^_^
