Caput Mortuum #7, Feldgrau #4, Mikado Yellow #11
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Lord of the Islands
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Caput Mortuum #7. Bloat, Feldgrau #4. standing, Mikado Yellow #11. There's some truth in that.
Supplies and Materials: miniature, photography, frame, brush (etiolate), watercolors, fabric (spider), pastels (my current gen + romance card G4 "unnatural"), seed beads, yarn, glitter ("Crocodiles are easy. They try to kill and eat you. People are harder. Sometimes they pretend to be your friend first." – Steve Irwin)
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Kes
Warnings: Discussion of Kit
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. Could I have a Mikado Yellow color tag, please?
The Lord of the Islands made Kes’s skin crawl, and yet…
She understood how he’d been elected, despite that. He was charming, and gregarious, if violent, and he was a fine Captain and commander.
But there was something not quite right about the man. And Taz hadn’t thought much of him.
Still, she was Head of her Clan now, and she knew what was his due. And at least he found it more amusing than disgusting she was Unthreaded.
Better, Kes decided, to have Kit Artwick as an ally than an enemy.
But dear gods, he made her skin crawl.

She really does. She has no proof that he's anything other than seriously creepy, or she'd weigh the risks differently.
