It was easy.

A dollar here, a dollar there. Nothing anyone would notice. Quarters from his mother's purse, bills from the till at his summer job, now thousands from work.

It was so easy. The gorvernment never noticed; why should they? Not like he was taking anything that didn't rightfully belong to him. His family had helped build this city, and all he had to show for it was his name and the respect he wasn't getting.

Fuck that. He'd get respect. Money could buy anything, and all the money was his.

Anyone who thought different could kiss his ass.
