Tiffany Blue #7
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Loose End
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Tiffany Blue #7. pendant (dangly things)
Supplies and Materials: paint-by-numbers (from kat), miniature collection, cavas (985 FY--one year before the main narrative starts), pastels (my current gen card O3 taking advantage)
Word Count: 246
Rating: PG-13
Characters: King Amassa, Princess Kesshare, Lady Riluke
Warnings: None
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Amassa
It will be safer for her.
That's what he tells himself, so he feels like he's not throwing his only grandchild to the wolves. She can't inherit--Odaki wasn't married to her mother, and the woman had died before he could rectify that--but she's still his granddaughter.
She'll be safe in the Islands, away from court scheming.
She'll just be alone.
Kesshare
She isn't really a threat.
But, that being said, there are those who would try to make her into one, a standard for a revolution. If she's away from court, that's less likely. Besides, they need a new ambassador to the Islands and the girl has a certain talent and charm. But ambassadors have a sneaking way of exerting more influence. She'll have to keep a close eye on her.
She'll be safe in the Islands, away from court scheming.
She'll just have power.
Riluke
The desert is behind her.
She's never left, and facing the ocean fills her with more than a little fear. She knows, however, how her father really died--everyone does, they just don't talk about it. But even with her father gone, and the danger from his murderer, she somewhat regrets leaving--she and Nolani grew up together, Isshiri is impossible to dislike, and Grandfather has always treasured her. But in the Islands, she'll have opportunities that her parentage forbids her in the City of Glass.
She'll be safe in the Islands, away from court scheming.
And she'll be free.
