Blush #13
Name: Blossom
Story: Pleasant Surprise
Colors: Blush 13. (on your arm)
Supplies and Styles: acrylic, glitter (pride)
Title: It was a good night
Word Count: 226
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Albert thought the night was a bust, until Chris walked in.
Warnings: none except tooth rotting fluff and a reference to one of Albert's fears
Notes: This prompt was giving me quite the headache, but that changed after I talked with my bestie about stories. I started thinking about Albert and Chris then this appeared. ^_^ He used to be a side character, but not anymore. Well, enjoy!
Albert didn’t like crowds very much, but he couldn’t avoid the Amulet event celebrating the revival of the Necromancy program since he played a big part in it’s revival. He was glad that the event would be at the Winchester Hotel. At least it wouldn’t be in an unfamiliar area. Albert walked in with Susie who floated away with Tabitha after a while. His family spread out across the room, engaged in their own conversations. He almost panicked with each person that came by to congratulate him.
Albert pushed down his nerves and gave a polite smile to anyone that walked over to him. He didn’t speak very much and fought the urge to hide behind someone from his family or his friends. He knew he couldn’t hide for long since his family, friends, and Susie would ease him out to accept the recognition he deserved. He’d rather receive a medal or certificate instead.
The night dragged on, until Chris walked in, looking very handsome in his Fire Demon formal wear, and offered his arm to him. It calmed him down whenever a few people gathered around to congratulate him. Albert found it was hard to give the same polite smile when he introduced Chris as his boyfriend. He walked around the ballroom with a silly grin on his face for the rest of the night.
