Summary: Jake is a princess. He's okay with this. Olivia has a lot of cleavage. He's okay with that too.
Warnings: none.
Notes: Happiness.
Olivia greeted him at the door in corset, blouse, and floor-length skirt, with a pirate hat perched jauntily atop her curls and a considerable amount of cleavage. Jake blinked down at his fiancée's breasts and said, "Oh. Um. Is it... did I miss an anniversary?"
She stared at him for a moment, then began to laugh. "Oh my God, you forgot!"
"I did not forget!" Jake said. "I just... temporarily... okay, stop laughing, I forgot, what did I forget?"
"It's Halloween," she said, and flicked his nose. "And we have a party to go to, which I assume from your face that you have also forgotten about?"
"Yes," he said, eyes drifting back downwards. Early pregnancy was supposed to make a woman's breasts bigger, but even so, that was an awful lot of cleavage. "Do we have to go?"
Olivia giggled. "Yes, because I've been looking forward to it. But I promise to let you take the corset off when we get home. Slowly."
Oh, wow, the way she enunciated that last word was just not fair. Jake dragged his thoughts back to the topic, forcibly. "Oh. Uh. Well, except I forgot, so I don't have a costume, so we can't go."
"Nice try," she said. "I've got a tiara. Staple a couple of grocery bags together and you can be the Paper Bag Princess."
"The who now?"
She rolled her eyes. "You're really going to have to familiarize yourself with the Paper Bag Princess before the baby's born. For now, it's a children's book. You go change into a t-shirt and shorts and I'll make your dress."
Jake glanced once more at her breasts. "Do I really have to?"
"You know," Olivia remarked, "I'd be offended if I didn't know you were objecting to the delay in sex and not the costume."
"I will dress as whatever you want," he said, quite sincerely. "Just promise me not more than two hours?"
She went up on her tiptoes and kissed him. "Two hours on the dot," she promised. "Now go change. And be glad I'm here to save you, princess."
He blew a kiss over his shoulder as he headed for the bedroom. "Always, darling."
