Summary: Ethan and Gino spend an afternoon together after a soccer game.

Just past the parking lot, Gino pulls out his phone and dials by memory.

“Well, yeah, the game is over,” he mumbles, watching the others make their way from the field. “A bunch of us are going out for food, so-- yeah, yeah, of course. I’ll call. No, Ethan’ll be there too, but-- yeah. Okay, sure, call you then.”

“Vito?” Ethan asks as he joins him.

“Yeah.” There’s a sinking feeling somewhere in the vicinity of Gino’s stomach. “I hate lying to him.”

“Mmm.” Pointedly, Ethan doesn’t say any more. “Ready to go?”

“Yeah.” Grabbing his duffel bag, Gino falls into step beside Ethan. They cross the lot, turning left at the street to head toward Ethan’s building.

“I just wish I could have it both ways,” Gino says, following Ethan into the apartment. “Tell everyone, but not, you know, have to tell everyone.”

Ethan drops his bag near the door, toeing his shoes off. “I don’t think that’s a realistic option, but you can pretend all you want.”

“Yeah. Pretend.”

“Hey. Hey, come here.” Ethan reaches over to wrap his arm around Gino’s waist, pulling them close. With a quick, closed mouth kiss, he mutters, “I know you hate it. But if you ever decide to change your mind, I’ll be right beside you, okay? Until then, well, we’ll just make the most of what we have.” He smiles and strokes a finger along the bare skin of Gino’s arm.

“Stop trying to make me feel better,” Gino replies, voice muffle as he burrows his head into Ethan’s shoulder.

“I’m not much for watching you self-flagellate. Not my kink.”

“Shut up.” He tilts his head back to exchange a deep kiss, a soft sound escaping his throat. “I love you, you know that?”

“I know.” Ethan gently guides them toward the couch. “But it wouldn’t hurt to have you show me a little.”

They fall against each other, sinking onto the cushions.

“Jesus,” Gino gasps, arching his neck and tossing his head back against the armrest. “Fuck, that’s good.” He’s trapped under Ethan with his arms pinned above his head, writhing as they grind against one another. Both of them are mostly clothed, shorts pushes down just far enough to allow them to press against each other, and he can’t stop moving, can’t stop thrusting and crying out long enough to undress them further.

“Like,” Ethan pants, breath hot against his ear, “like that?”

“God, yes, fuck.”

Shuddering, Ethan twists his hips in a way that brings their cocks into contact, wringing out a moan despite the thin layer of their jock straps separating them still. Gino bucks forward, toes practically curling, gasping as his nerves buzz and tingle, fire in his veins.

“How-- how--”

“How’m I this-- this good?” Ethan manages, smirking before a particularly hard thrust wipes the expression from his face. “Natural, fuck, talent.”

“Harder,” Gino pleads, straining against the grip around his wrists. “Harder, oh god, just like-- oh!” Groaning, Ethan lightly sinks his teeth into Gino’s clavicle. Their rhythm becomes erratic and stuttering until they both drive headlong over the edge with a ringing shout.

Eventually, Ethan draws in a sharp breath. “That...”

“Yeah.”

“Good.” Short and succinct, but no less true. “Very, very good.”

“Uh-huh.” Gino wiggles slightly, lowering his arms. He feels much more relaxed than earlier, a grin creeping across his face. “Thanks.”

“Hey, no need to thank me when you return the favor like that.”

“No, I--” He falters, watching Ethan slowly sit up, making a face at the mess they created. “Not for the, uh, orgasm. For earlier.” Gino flushes. “Thanks.”

“Don’t mention it.”

The kiss they share is lazy and gentle, but no less sweet.
