"Are you staying?"
For a second there is doubtful look. She knows it has nothing to do with her.
"Okay. But... Don't hold me back when I want to leave before noon. I still have some things to do for school and exams are slowly coming up and-"
Her fingers against his lips, effectively cutting him off mid-speech.
"I know. And I promise."
Smiling Nick kisses her. "I'd love to stay."
Another kiss and she laughs when he wraps his arms around her waist, picking her up and twirling them around.
"Are you tired?"
Freya chuckles when she reads the look in his eyes.
"No. But I wouldn't mind getting in bed already."
He still hasn't put her down and it makes her laugh when he carries her towards the bedroom. Carefully he sets her back down, kissing her again and again and again. Letting his hands move all over her body. Going from her neck and face, over her spine and her sides, to come and rest on her hips. Slowly his fingers lift her T-shirt, the palms of his hands keeping contact with her skin when he pulls the shirt over her head.
One hand on her back, fingers trying to unclip her bra. While his other hand tosses her shirt somewhere in the room.
Freya hums softly while her own fingers are unbuttoning his shirt. Letting it slip of his shoulders, not caring where it falls on the ground. It's soon joined by her bra.
Nick moan when he feels her naked breasts against his chest. And another time when her hands squeeze his ass.
Without bothering to get rid of the rest of their clothing, Nick lowers them onto the mattress.
Nick smiles against her lips when he feels soft fur against his arm.
"What?"
Freya breaks of the kiss and looks up at him. Wondering.
"Since we started dating, since I stay the night sometimes, you kicked all the teddy bears out of your bed."
She looks around her room. The stuffed animals that previously filled her bed all got a new place. She always needed one in her arms to be able to fall asleep. But now she has Nick. She'll never tell him, but secretly she thinks of him as her own personal, big teddy bear.
"Yeah, all except for one."
There is one teddy that can stay. For the nights where she doesn't have Nick lying next to her.
"I know."
The tone of his voice tells her he really does know.
