Caithlynn smiles when she hears her mother’s cheerful laugh. No matter what, she’s happy they passed by the village. If only for her own courage. Seeing her mother so strong… It gives her some strength to continue.

Looking aside she sees the sudden sad look on Frey’s face.

“What’s wrong?”

The boy just shakes his head. Trying to smile so as not to ruin the happy mood.

“Frey?”

Her voice soft and filled with concern.

“How she looks when she’s laughing… She reminds me of my mother.”

He doesn’t need to add there isn’t much he remembers of her.
