Soot 11 + Miniature: Logically Speaking

Name: Destiny
Story: The Mondian Chronicles
Title: Logically Speaking
Timeline: 1143 AW
Colors: Soot 11: A posteriori (trans: from the latter)
Supplies and Styles: Miniature
Word Count: 100
Summary: He knew logically they wouldn't match. But was he really thinking with logic?
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Notes: So um this is from the POV of a prominent politician at the Mondian court. I don't know why but I don't want to give out his name yet, though he's appeared before. So have some internal conflict from an unnamed narrator! XD

Logically he knew it would be a bad idea.

She being a Melopist and he, a staunch Passian, logically the marriage couldn't work out. Right?

But he wasn't thinking logically and he hated that. He didn't know what it was about this woman. This stubborn and willful woman that he found so interesting. So interesting that he was considering asking for her hand.

Perhaps it didn't matter. She wouldn't have him anyway. But giving up without a fight was one of the things he detested and he wasn't about to start down that path now. He would ask for her.

Somehow I think this is going to turn out differently than our narrator thinks-- whether for bad or for good remains to be seen.
