Zack's on the outside.
He shouldn't worry. Someone had to be. But Felipe is sprawled and snoring, Summer tucked safe under his arm, and despite what they've just done together, hands and mouths and skin on skin, he can't help but think—
He slips out of the bed, pulls a shirt over his head, his or Felipe's, it doesn't matter. He's hunting for his breeches when a small noise from the bed makes him turn.
Summer is awake, sleepy blue eyes half-lidded. "Where are you going?"
"Fresh air," he lies, stomach trembling.
Her eyes open a little more. "Come back," she says, and holds out a hand to him. "I'm cold."
He should go; he should leave them. Instead, he gets back into the bed, lets her snuggle into his chest.
When Felipe rolls over and throws a leg over their hips, possessive, he knows he's made the right choice.

I love how Zack's insecurity is immediately quenched, and this phrase: "He should go; he should leave them" says so much and so little at the same time.
