Old Lace #2, Zing #14, Sherry #4
Name: shadowsong26
Story: Spy Inaction
'Verse: Feredar
Colors: Old Lace #2. By profession he was a writer and he liked the atmosphere to be flawless., Zing #14. did you skinny-dip in the stupidity pond?, Sherry #4. Perhaps the kingdom of Heaven 's changed!
Supplies and Materials: tapestry, miniature, photography, frame, acrylic, oils, feathers, charcoal, seed beads, glitter, glue ("You're ready to jump in with both feet, but the voice of restraint reminds you of the price you often pay when you dive in before testing the water. Something doesn't feel quite right and you're correct to trust your instincts. It's wise to pull back a bit to find a healthy balance before you say yes without thinking first.")
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Keta
Warnings: References to war and underlying anti-mage bias.
Notes: Constructive criticism welcome, as always. Sometimes it's easy to forget Keta's politics. :/
While Keta couldn't move in and out of the palace, she had been so rarely in public, and so quiet, that she rarely caused any alarm, even where she couldn't quite blend in.
It was frustrating--heartbreaking--to watch the changes her little brother made, with no way to show him the lessons of history and why he was going awry; the currents underneath his deadly peace that threatened to rain tragedy upon the remnants of their family.
But she had to do something, so she kept coming back, and watched the city she had loved, and wished she could do more.

Nice job.
eta: and I totally just realized that's actually Andrell. Keta, what the hell history are you reading? :/

She's reading thousand-year-old history that was basically the reverse of what Kellom was doing. :/ So she's afraid Andrell is setting up a situation like that.
ETA She does recognize that the Purge was a really really really bad decision. She thinks extremism in general is a bad idea, she just...thinks what Andrell is doing is extremism just as bad as what Kellom was doing which...no.
