There was a bracelet she wore and never took off. Never. Not even for training. She always made sure a sweatband covered her wrist when she was standing on the tatami or the volley field.
Nick once asked her why she never took it off. Wondering why such a simple and plain bracelet was so all important.
She just replied he gave it to her. The look on her face was enough answer and she didn’t have to add that it was the last gift he gave to her. Before the accident tore him away.
