Colors: Tea rose 4 (An artist cannot do anything slovenly.), Danish red 1 (the little mermaid)
Supplies and Materials: Tapestry (Tea rose/eraser), eraser (Regency AU), miniature, fabric (this picture), novelty beads (Stop sign. Cute girl. 'Insurance please.')
Word Count: 100

Summary: Joseph meets the last person he'll ever see.
Warnings: none
Notes: Evan at last! I swear I've mentioned him before.

There's a beautiful man in the sitting room. Joseph stops dead in the hallway to stare.

He knew that Gina was having her portrait painted, of course. He's not surprised that Ivy is apparently in it as well, her head tilted against Gina's hip, Gina's hand in her hair. He did not expect the artist to be so...

Beautiful skin, warm and golden. Clean, high cheekbones, and a sweet white smile—good teeth, half his mind notes. Dark hair, unfashionably long and smooth. He's always favored dark men.

"Oh, Joseph!" Gina says, brightly, "come, meet Mr. Gower," and he's lost.

I like Joseph's reaction, half-analytical and half-taken.
