Summary: His bad feelings are rarely wrong.

Notes: Claude is Henri's oldest friend and former brother in law through his marriage to Henri's half sister. Thomas de Caulmont is the brother of Henri's third wife. This is another short piece as I can't seem to write anything longer than 300 words at the moment. XD
It seemed as though this exact scenario had played out before. Claude remembered not too long ago when his friend had been besotted with a young woman who happened to be carrying his child.
He leaned toward Thomas de Caulmont.
“Do you not think that Henri is rushing into this?”
Thomas turned slightly. “No.”
“I mean he's barely divorced from from one wife and already marrying another? I mean what's the rush?”
“Your Grace I wonder if you've forgotten that His Majesty at present time only has one son and that the king is increasing in age.”
“Of course not,” Claude said with a frown. “But it hardly seems appropriate to marry so soon.”
“Her Highness is not dead so I do not see a problem.”
“You wouldn't,” Claude mumbled.
“What was that?”
Claude turned away before he let his temper get the better of him. He looked at the scene before him. The priest was now confirming their union.
Claude sighed deeply as everyone around him stood. He had a bad feeling and his bad feelings were rarely wrong.
