Freya smiles when she looks aside. Nick lying peacefully next to her. Eyes closed. Breathing even.

She runs her fingers through his hair. Halts the movement when he shivers lightly. Luckily he doesn't wake up. Carefully she lets her fingers brush over his face. It's a feather's touch. She doesn't want to wake him, likes watching him when he's sleeping.

She inches closer, letting her head rest on his chest, her arm on his belly, taking in the smell that is so typically him.

A part of her still can't believe he loves her as much as she does him.
