Tea Rose 19, Scarlet 2: Nothing
Author: Kat
Title: Nothing
Story: In the Heart - Regency AU
Colors: Tea rose 19 (Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery.), scarlet 2 (My dear, I don't give a damn.) with kana's paint-by-numbers (I saw your shadow in the rain)
Supplies and Materials: Tapestry (tea rose/eraser), eraser (Regency AU), miniature, brush (sangfroid), oils (doing the right thing), glitter (How have you changed recently?), novelty beads (we meet again).
Word Count: 100
Rating: PG.
Summary: Gina encounters Vanessa again.
Warnings: none
Notes: Been thinking about this for a while.
Gina swept down the stairs on Joseph's arm and there she was. Vanessa.
She was as beautiful as ever, with that scarlet mouth and midnight hair, dress dipping low over her pale, flawless bosom. She was laughing, just at that moment, smiling wickedly at a pretty blushing girl, and for a disjointed moment Gina thought she was looking at herself.
She had always thought she'd be sick with fear or red with rage and yet, there was—nothing. Pity for the girl, and a vague thought of warning her, but for Vanessa, nothing.
Gina shook her head, and moved on.

Anyway, this is amazing! I love how she thought she was looking at herself, and then how she thought there would be so many emotions and istead there is nothing.
I like your ending. Moving on. Is good. ^^

And it's gone. Like the world is gone.
