Heavy In Your Arms, the Vitamin String Quartet
[instrumental]
Don't Forget Me, Way Out West
Don't forget me
Don't regret me
Don't suspect me
Don't neglect me
She broke up with him and walked away.
It hurts both of them. It's not what she wanted to do. It's not what he wanted to hear. There's a tie between their hearts and she cut it, and now they're both bleeding.
It's August, but it might as well be winter.

Like a Song, Lenka
I can't forget you when you're gone
You're like a song
that goes around in my head
Sweet Dreams & Starlight, David Nevue
[instrumental]
Sometimes living in the past can help.
She tries not to. He won't stop it. There's happiness in the memories, and sorrow, because they'll never come again and both of them know it and neither one can stop the sneaking hope that maybe, someday, they might. They have to let go. They can't.
It's winter inside and out.
--
Winter Song, Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson
My love a beacon in the night.
My words will be your light
to carry you to me.
Is love alive?
She decides to come home the same day he decides to move on.
He loves her, and he has to move on, because she's never coming home. She loves him, and she has to come home, because she's never moving on. He can't stand the memories and she can't get them out of her head.
It's August, and maybe winter is lifting.

Rooftop, Newsies

And so it is
The shorter story
No love, no glory
No hero in her sky
I can't take my eyes off of you

You're like a song

Yesterday, the Beatles
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday

My words will be your light
to carry you to me.
Is love alive?
Vanilla Twilight, Owl City
And I'll forget the world that I knew
But I swear I won't forget you
Oh if my voice could reach back through the past
I'd whisper in your ear:
"Oh darling I wish you were here"
She decides to come home the same day he decides to move on.
