"What if we date him?" Zack asks, and Summer can only blink at him.

She'd never considered the idea. She knows Felipe is polyamorous, but she never imagined it for herself. Two partners seems so difficult, and she has a hard enough time with love.

And yet... it isn't two partners, it's Zack and Felipe, the two who understand her best, who have never let her down. Together they are a circle, whole and complete, balanced.

Polyamory she cannot do. But Zack and Felipe she cannot do without.

If she's ever taken a chance before, she must take this one.

Ooh man, I've been wondering how this worked for Summer in the beginning. A circle, though--that's logical, it fits her thinking and it fits them. I'm still wondering how this works out at the start, though, what kinds of hiccups they hit.

I'm walking a tricky line here with the OT3; basically I'm trying to write about their start without writing my queer_bigbang. But trust me, you will find out ALL ABOUT their first year together. In excruciting detail, probably. oh god oh god what am I doing Kelly.

Departedfic is going to take forever, so we can still do excruciating detail together. Maybe we could have a chat or something where we cheer each other on or do sprints like NaNoWriMo chats (twenty minutes of writing, ten of chat, or similar).

Geena says she'd be interested. I definitely am. (Departedfic for SFBB was EASY, so of course this one isn't!) Nikki would also be interested. We can start doing them tomorrow night or something with whoever's around--I'll just leave the chat open, most likely, and that way it's the same URL every time (if we're using tinychat).

It's such a short piece, but there is so much going on there. I feel like Summer will come through and I hope she and the boys can make their polyamory relationship work. I've never read about Polyamory romances, so I'm interested to see where this goes.

Oh, they will. Polyamory in general is not really for Summer, but with these two boys, I don't think there's any other way she could have managed.
