Notes: Duncan is allergic to shellfish, peanuts, tomatos, strawberries, bananas, apples, and citrus fruits, as well as being celiac. He discovered six of these seven allergies while sharing food with Ahava. Hence the title.

"Goddamnit, Ahava," Duncan said, and tossed back the Benadryl like a shot.

"Don't blame me," Ahava objected mildly, paying close attention to his breathing. It seemed fine, if a little raspy, and his foot was the only thing swelling, which was idiosyncratic and fucking hilarious.

"My shoes don't even fit anymore!" he said. "Goddamnit, why is it that whenever I eat something you give me I go into anaphylactic shock?"

"This isn't anaphylactic shock," she said, and rolled her eyes. "It's just a bad reaction. And hey, now you know not to eat shellfish."

Duncan's only response was extremely profane.

Well, I have to agree with looking on the bright side here. It could have been a lot worse!

But, I still feel bad laughing at Duncan's pain.
