Liver 10, Chartreuse 6: Shrapnel
Author: Kat
Title: Shrapnel
Story: In the Heart -- IN SPAAAACE
Colors: Liver 10 (leg), chartreuse 6 (Mon foie a mal au ventre. / My liver has a stomach ache.) with subluxate's paint-by-numbers ("I didn't get shot! ...it's shrapnel.")
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, yarn (turbulence), glue (Maintaining your composure is probably a good idea, for your job should come first at this time.), novelty beads ("Getting shot sounds noble until it actually happens to you. Don't volunteer for it unless it's absolutely necessary." --Fiona), eraser.
Word Count: 100.
Rating: PG-13.
Summary: Danny objects to the thought that she might have been shot. I mean, really, how dare you.
Warnings: background violence
Notes: Sequel to this.
Danny barely made it onto the transport, skidding up the ramp behind the last of the children. Aaron hollered to the pilot, who slammed the ramp shut and hauled ass, and caught Danny as she fell against him, blood dripping down her calf.
"You've been shot," he observed, calmly, and braced himself against the turbulence of atmosphere.
"I have not," Danny said, and then, "Ow."
Aaron gave her leg an eloquent glance.
She followed his glance, and rolled her eyes. "Don't be an idiot," she said, "that's shrapnel."
"I'm glad we've established the difference," Aaron said, and alerted med bay.

I love how offended she is at the very idea. XD

Hahaha, me too! Danny is offended by the idea that she would stand still long enough to get shot.

And now, that I have more of an appreciation for Danny Being Danny, the cute just multiplied.
And yet, I could not help but snicker at "I'm glad we've established the difference."
A very well-rounded 100 words. With Danny and kids! YAY!
