Nolani finger-combs her hair, long silver waves spilling over her pillows. An ache builds in her jaw and spreads down to her chest, growing into a pressure that swallows everything.
It fades, and she dreams of Andrell and Lonura, young again, waiting for her, and then fades into a soft shimmer of starlight on silver hair.
