Jake wakes up alone.

He rolls over, squints at the clock-- barely three AM. Olivia was in bed when he fell asleep. She's probably just in the bathroom or something, but... he sits up, rubs a hand across his eyes. She's been depressed lately.

She is in the bathroom, on her knees, scrubbing the grout between the tiles.

"It's not clean," she says, still scrubbing, not looking up. "I keep thinking if I just can get it clean, everything will be okay."

It won't be okay. They both know that.

Jake kneels, wraps his fingers through Olivia's. "Let me help."
