Caithlynn smiles when she recognizes the amazement in Frey’s voice at seeing the fog between the trees. No, no fog. Smoke.
“Don’t worry.”
He shakes his head. Not worried at all. Knowing full well it is Alan who is using his Fire Element – somewhere in the middle of the forest. Control.
Without another word he runs to the nearest tree. He reminds Caithlynn of a little monkey. Agile. And quick. In just a couple of seconds he’s in the top, looking over the forest. She knows he searches the Wielder of Fire – wants to see what he’s doing. Curious.
