Faded Blue 14: Accidents
Author: Kat
Title: Accidents
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Faded blue 14 (I've had measles and the mumps).
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, canvas (Ahava and Duncan are about seven), seed beads, acrylic (a desire), stickers (peanut allergies), modeling clay (scar), glitter (problem), glue (Be careful because you may be easily misled today by someone you trust. ), novelty beads ("I Will Survive", Gloria Gaynor).
Word Count: 100
Rating: G
Summary: Duncan finds out that he's allergic to peanuts the hard way.
Warnings: None.
Notes: I'm not sorry about the novelty beads.
"I'm so sorry," Ahava said, miserably.
Duncan pulled the oxygen mask off his face. "It's not your fault," he rasped, and put the mask back on when a passing nurse looked at him reproachfully.
"I gave you the cookie. I really am sorry, Duncan, I didn't mean..."
He rolled his eyes and pulled the mask off again. "Look, I didn't know I was allergic to peanuts. How were you supposed to?"
"I'm your best friend," she insisted. "I'm not supposed to accidentally poison you."
"No," he said, "you're supposed to do it on purpose," and good, that got a smile.
