Theo got home after school on Wednesday evening to find Hector, naked, curled in the fetal position on the floor between the bed and the bathroom and snoring like a hibernating bear.

Okay, he had to wake him up, if only to find out how this happened.

Theo set his briefcase full of grading on the bed, knelt, and shook his lover's shoulder, gently. "Hector. Hey. Hector, wake up."

He snorted, opened one eye, and glared up at Theo. "What?"

"You're on the floor, honey," he said, gently.

"I know," Hector said, and closed his eye again.

Theo opened his mouth, closed it, and rocked back on his heels, unsure how, exactly, to reply to that. Finally, he asked, "Why are you on the floor?"

"Too hot in bed," Hector rumbled, and threw an arm up over his ear. "Stop talking, 'm sleepy."

Theo ignored him. "You could sleep on top of the covers," he said, reasonably. "Nice and cool up there, and not, y'know, hardwood."

"Don't like it," Hector mumbled, and then apparently woke up a little more. "Oh, hey, welcome home."

"Hi," Theo said, amused, and leaned down to kiss him when Hector rolled over and offered up his mouth. "You just now noticed."

"Tired," Hector said again.

Evidently. Theo smiled at his face, loose and slack with sleep. "I can see that. You snore like a bear."

Hector half-shrugged, then reached up, grabbed the back of Theo's suit jacket, and pulled him down to sprawl across his body. "Hey," Theo began, but Hector was already untucking the back of his shirt, then sliding both arms around his bare back, and it felt really nice. Comforting.

"Better," Hector murmured, into his hair, and then closed his eyes. A moment later, he let out another snore.

Well, crap.

"Hector?" Theo tried to push himself up and fell back down, because Hector was a lot stronger than he was, and he couldn't get any decent leverage anyway. "Hector. Hector, let me go. I have grading to do."

Hector mumbled something, then rolled over on his side, pulling Theo along with him, and curled into the fetal position, with Theo scrunched in the middle like an overgrown, lanky teddy bear.

Theo closed his eyes and thunked his head against Hector's chest. "Hector, seriously, I have work."

"Shut up," Hector said, quite clearly. "I'm sleeping."

Well, when he put it like that.

You even put bears in it.

BEARS.

And entirely too much adorables, but certain things must be approached only in excess. Such as this story.

Which contains snorf and which has earned you snorf.

*SNORF TO THE MAX*

Agh, the adorable just makes it, really. You just love Hector more for his silliness. <3

Aww, cute. I don't think Theo minds that much if Hector delays his grading a bit. :)
