Ruby 2, Snow White 6: Time

Title: Time
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Ruby 2 (hair black as ebony), snow white 6 (transformation).
Supplies and Materials: Bichromatic, miniature, charcoal, brush (slimsy), acrylic (You show the lights that stop me turn to stone/you shine them when I'm alone/and so I tell myself that I'll be strong/and draming when they're gone - Lights, Ellie Goulding), stickers (chimps and mirrors), stain (Happiness isn't something you experience; it's something you remember. - Oscar Levant), modeling clay (time), beading wire (sunset), glitter (visual), novelty beads (warning signs).
Word Count: 100.
Rating: PG.
Summary: Time is against Yvonne.
Warnings: none.

She has a grey hair.
It's barely noticable, a silver thread amid the blonde, but Yvonne can see it, just like she can see the hair-fine wrinkles at her eyes and mouth. They're nearly invisible, for the moment. Soon enough everyone will be able to see them. Soon enough she'll lose her best weapon.
Days like this she wishes she didn't leave Hugh. He paid no attention to her, but at least he paid her bills.
She takes a deep breath, yanks out the grey hair, and twines it tightly around her finger.
She still has time.
But not much.
