Eton Blue 13: Getting Old
Author: Kat
Title: Getting Old
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Eton blue 13 (college applications).
Supplies and Materials: Canvas, modeling clay (champion), glitter (I Fought the Law (and the mom won)), novelty beads (this gif), glue (You can be very stubborn about something that you think is important.), miniature, oils (And then I walked away), watercolors ("So I went and picked up a hell beast instead of getting groceries. Sue me.").
Word Count: 100.
Rating: G.
Summary: Gail is getting tired of this.
Warnings: none.
Notes: This is about the fifth random animal Ivy has brought home. Takes place shortly before Kittens.
Gail pinched the bridge of her nose and tried to stay calm.
"Ivy," she said, as patiently as she could, "please explain to me how you picked up a pit bull on a grocery run." Without the attendent groceries, no less.
Ivy scratched the pit bull's ears as it slobbered adoringly on her lap. "I dunno," she said. "He followed me home."
Of course he did. Gail sighed. "We can't keep it. We don't have space for a dog."
Ivy and the pit bull turned identical pairs of huge pleading eyes on her, one blue, one brown.
For Christ's sake.

Pit bull as adorable and unexpected, in it's own way.
Also, PIT LOVE. ...can we go back to calling them Nanny Dogs now?

Also, I am totally okay with calling them nanny dogs. I LOVE pitties and their FACES and their adorableness so much. If I ever get a dog it will be a pit bull. But for now I am a kitty mommy.
