Who is the fairy tale and who is the fact? Who is the girl and who is the ghost?

These are the thoughts that keep them up at night, not fear, not hatred, not pain. Those stopped a long time ago. Now that the world has started spinning again, it's safe to think of other things, things like who they are.

Annabelle and Molly curl close to each other, whisper secrets that no one but they know. They tell each other stories at night and they keep their wings wrapped around each other.

They made a world this way, a life out of hell. They survived by creating a civilization of two.

But then the world starts to turn again and it became more than just them. It became Jim and Vincent and Tristan and Victoria. It became John and Percival and a shop the barely remember ever calling home.

And now they're faced with a question, faced with a demand for one of them to go away, for Molly to be whole and normal and to be herself again.,

But Molly do9ens't remember and Annabell can't just go away. The world doesn't work like that, they don't work like that.

So they stay with Jim, curled up on his couch because they're not comfortable sharing a bed with anyone but each other anymore. They breath slo9wly and drink good tea, they lie through their teeth and pretend that it's only one of them, just molly, only Molly.

Because that's what they do, isn't it? They dance and spin and please the people around them. They do what they must to survive and this is just one more thing. Annabelle stays quiet and takes on what Molly can't and Molly pretends to be a real girl instead of a ghost.

So maybe it's not a question at all, maybe they know who's the fairytale and who's the ghost and who is the one that doesn't really exist.

It's just not the answer that everyone wants them to give.
