Summary: Gina is loved.

Ivy stretches out on her stomach, moves her hands across the multicolored crocheted quilt like a swimmer in a psychedelic sea. "I love your bed," she says, turning her head, her cheek pressed against an orange square. "I love this blanket."

Gina laughs, and sits beside her, resting one hand on Ivy's back. "My mother made it for me," she replies, stroking a sea-green square. "For college. To remind me that I'm loved."

Ivy sits up, reaches out and cups Gina's cheek, her hand soft and cool. "You are, you know," she says, seriously. "Loved."

Gina doesn't reply in words.
