Alice Blue #25, Orange #7, Screaming Green #18
Could I get a tag for Orange, please?
Name:
kay_brooke
Story: The Myrrosta
Colors: Alice Blue #25 (at the time it all seemed quite natural), Orange #7 (orange quartz), Screaming Green #18 (love is a matter of chemistry, but sex is a matter of physics)
Styles/Supplies: Miniature Collection, Eraser (Merrus/Jay AU)
Word Count: 461
Rating/Warnings: PG-13; no standard warnings apply
Summary: Merrus and Jay do it.
Notes: I don't even know.
She shoved him away when he tried to put his lips to her shoulder. He jerked back, his mouth leaving a shiny spot of spittle behind, which Jay wiped away in disgust. "What do you think you are doing?"
He cocked his head. "Kissing you?"
"By drooling on me?" Jay frowned at the confused look on the salkiy's face. "Have you ever kissed anyone before?"
Merrus shrugged. "It's not something salkiys do."
Jay rolled her eyes. "Fine. Try again. Do something slower and easier. Aim for my cheek. Keep your tongue in your mouth!"

When she bit his ear he let out a shriek and scooted away. "Don't touch my ear," he gasped.
"Most men like that." Jay wasn't sure if she should think of Merrus as a man, but he was male and she figured that was close enough. Maybe in this, though, salkiys weren't the same. She wondered if it would be prudent to keep a chart.
"Just, please don't." She watched as his fingers ghosted over the thin, white remnants of scars along the outer shell of his ear.
Perhaps it wasn't a salkiy thing.

"Does it have to be on the bed?"
"I suppose not." Jay was no stranger to intimate relations in a variety of places, but Merrus seemed more inexperienced than she and she had figured a bed would be more comfortable for him. "Where would you prefer?"
"Just not on the bed." Merrus eyed the thick covers with distaste. "There'll be too much to...clean up."
"Oh." Jay leaned back against the pillows. "I suppose we should not give the servants anything to talk about."
#
He couldn't undo the buckles on her vest. "What are these?" he finally exclaimed, frustrated.
Jay snapped them open. "See? Have you never undone buckles before?" She supposed not, since she had rarely seen him in anything but a robe. Sometimes he wore work shirts and trousers, but he never seemed to have much to do with anything more complicated.
His fingers reached for her belt and she stopped him. "Leave that on."
Merrus hesitated. "Then how?"
She showed him.
"Oh."
Sometimes complicated clothing had its uses.
#
Merrus had very long fingers.
"You want me to do what?" he asked.
#
Once (most) of the clothing was dispensed with, there was a moment where they just stared at each other.
"Oh," said Jay finally. "I have never seen one that looks like that."
"Is it that different?" Merrus looked something between curiously puzzled and completely devastated.
Jay shrugged. "It is close enough."
#
After, they laid together on the cot, Merrus snuggled up against her back, his arm slung over her waist. Jay smiled with the air of someone completely satisfied. Maybe there was no need for that chart after all.
