Taz peeked over into the cradle. She’d seen her before, when Mommy said she and Kes had another sister to look after, and wasn't it good that Daddy got to come home home from the ship yesterday, just in time? But it was different seeing her all sleepy. She was all tiny and fuzzy and her head still looked a little squishy.
Taz pulled the ratty old stuffed bear from behind her back and carefully tucked it into Baby's cradle. "I'm Taz," she whispered. "I'm your biggest sister. You can have my bear, since I don’t need him no more. His name's Lin. But I guess you can call him somethin’ else if you want.” She paused. “You sleep now. We can play with him tomorrow.”
