Blush 5: I Look At You
Author: Kat
Title: I Look At You
Story: In the Heart
Colors: Blush 5 (hand in hand) with Isana's paint-by-numbers (Rebecca’s dreams with Frank don’t match up to reality.)
Supplies and Materials: Miniature, novelty beads (lies), fingerpainting (double etheree), canvas, acrylic (I want to love you/I want to hold you/Baby I want to kiss you/I wish you would look into my eyes -- I Don't Mind, Ashanti), modeling clay (sinking), feathers (a desolate train station), charcoal, seed beads.
Word Count: 90.
Rating: G.
Summary: Rebecca to Frank.
Warnings: nope.
Notes: Another double etheree: thanks for the correction, Sara. These things are hard, as is, apparently remembering what they're actually called. Tomorrow-- fairy tales! Get excited.
I
look at
you and see
my dreams, my hopes
a man who loves me
just as I am, with no
reservations. But I see
falsely-- I see my dreams and not
reality. You are not my dream,
nor the warm hand I prayed would reach for mine.
You are a dank cave, and I toss in
my hopes and see them swallowed up.
I asked once what you see when
you see me; I know now
why you did not speak.
You do not see
anything
at all.
no.
