"You're so good," Vanessa says. She says it like an insult. Gina flushes, and she smiles. "Don't you want to be a little bad? See what's on the other side of your precious fences?"
It's their second date. They're outside a dive bar. Gina can't seem to think. "I..."
Vanessa shrugs. "Or you could be boring. Come or go, your choice." She brushes a hand along Gina's cheekbone, then leans in to whisper in her ear. "But I don't wait around, babe."
"Wait," Gina blurts, before she can go. "I'll... I'll come."
"Bad girl," Vanessa purrs, and pulls her forward.
