Summary: While out in the town market, Camilo shows Emeri the best view within it and his memories attached to it.

One thing was for sure, the town was quite lively. Even more so in the afternoon. I took in every bit that I could through each of my senses as I wandered throughout the cobblestone streets with Camilo trailing close behind, keeping an eye on me. I tasted the various street foods and sweet treats from many vendors on the side of the streets, smelled meals and various other scents such as incense within stores. My ears took in the conversation of the locals while the upbeat rhythm of salsa music filled the air around them all. My slender hands didn’t hesitate to touch items being sold and I treated the more delicate objects as if they were close to my heart, making sure I returned them to their rightful spots after taking a closer look at them.

But the best thing was what I saw toward the end of the day; a sunset from where I stood on a stone viewpoint. The golden tones of the sun warmed the sky but slowly but surely relinquished the hold of pink and orange colors to it’s more demure purple and dark blue partners instead. Below the horizon the sun was sinking into was the reflective shimmer of the ocean, glittering like a million diamonds.

The view was so beautiful that I couldn’t help but sigh deeply. I could hear Camilo finally coming to a stop right behind me at my right side before he took in the sight. “It’s gorgeous isn’t it?” He asked, smirking as I looked over her shoulder at him.

“Yes. Very much so.”

Camilo put his hands into the pockets of his white linen pants before he gave a nod toward the sunset. “It’s funny. When I watch the sunset from a spot like this one, memories of mi abuelos pop up into my mind.”

Intrigued, I turned around slightly to meet Camilo’s gaze head on. “How so, Cami? Did they bring you here a lot?”

“I wish I could say yes. But to be honest, we did a lot of traveling so there wasn’t a lot of lounging around here in the town.” A solemn light passed by Camilo’s eyes and I could tell that was a want he had always wished for. I reached back for his hand and he took it, lifting it up to kiss along my ring finger. At my look for him to continue, he said, “But going back to that memory… my abuelo would explain facts about the sun as it was going down. He was always so damn intelligent that he couldn’t help but share what he knew, no matter how irritating it would get."

Camilo and I laughed at this memory and I wondered if he had the same laugh as his grandfather.

“After that, my abuela would take my hand and dance with me to the music. Actually the music playing right now almost sounds exactly like the song we would dance to. It’s not the same one but it’s really close. She would twirl me around and around and my laughter would just mix with the music. My abuelo would join us finally with his freaking amazing dance steps."

Camilo paused while deep in reminisce. "All in all, it was one of the best moments of my life. I will never forget it."

“I hope you don’t, handsome. That sounds so important to you so because of that you should most definitely keep your memories close."

Camilo's light browns connected with mine and he pulled me towards him by my hand. I knew he wanted to kiss me but knowing still didn't stop my heart from thundering in anticipation. I looked at him and he smiled warmly.

"Will you make more memories with me, mi reina?"

I smiled wide, extremely happy that he would want to with me. "You should already know that answer, my love. But yes. I will."

Camilo's grin grew as bright as the sun departing from our sights and his eyes hooded while he lowered his head to mine. I parted my lips just in time to take his kiss, moaning just ever so softly. Our arms cling to one another's, both of us unwilling to part from each other. I could feel Cami's hands drifting along the small of my back before gathering handfuls of my dress in his fists showing his love and lust for me in one small action. I shivered in his embrace sighing as he broke the kiss putting his head on mine.

"Me haces muy feliz, Emeri Alsina..."

I made him very happy. If only knew how the feeling was mutual.

"Likewise."

Nothing else was said after that and that was fine. We had all we needed: the sound of soft music behind us, warm arms around each other and the last flash of light the sun graced us with.

I've added your story tag!

One minor mod note: we ask that you only use three colors per story. Go ahead and keep the four on this one, but keep that in mind for the future. :) Thanks!
