“Yeah,” Billy nodded. “We’re in quite a beautiful place, so… it fits.”
“I can’t stuff my face with those delicious cookies you made if you’re making art with my face,” Billy snorted. “This was supposed to be a little lazy morning.”
“It’s just a sketch,” as if Billy only ever sketched her. Ollie picked another sandwich. Ham and mayo, cut in neat perfect squares. “Babe?”
“Hi.”
“Will you marry me?”
“I- what?” Billy looked at her expectantly. “Are you proposing? Here and now?”
“Yes. Will you marry me?”
“Yeah.”
