Andrell keeps her in the palace while he's stabilizing things/for a year or so, and then she goes back to stay with her family, and lives quietly away from court. She never remarries, but she does find her peace and contentment in her widowhood. It helps having a little distance from everything with Kellom. Andrell does make sure she has at least financial support, as much as she needs/wants, and did make it clear that she was welcome at court if she wants to come back, but he never pushes her.
