He'd spent too much time working in the gardening shelter. By the time Nate exited the underground hatch, the sun was setting in the horizon, a blaze of blinding light painting the whole horizon. Frowning, Nate pulled his goggles down over his eyes and sat beside his waveboard on the sand.

With night falling, the wind had died down as a chill began to creep over the barren sands of the world before him. Sams had promised there would be a large wind storm earlier, perfect waveboard weather. Sighing, Nate cursed his luck as the sun melted from the sky.
